Bylakuppe is a lesser known Tibetan town in India. it is situated 90 kilometers from mysore on SH88. Bylakuppe comprises of two Tibetan refugee settlements that were set up in 1961 and 1969 respectively. Bylakuppe has grown into a full-fledge town housing a largest Tibetan population outside of Dharamsala, India. Due to its proximity to Mysore, Bylakuppe is the most preferred travel destination of Coorg.
