The Gujari Mahal was built for Queen Mrignayani who was the wife of Raja Man Singh Tomar. She wanted a separate castle with a regular water supply from the nearby river Rai River for herself. The palace has now been converted into an archaeological museum which has miniature historical statues, Hindu and Jain sculptures and terracotta items.
