Situated to the east of Gwalior fort, the Sas-Bahu ka mandir or Sahastrabahu Temple was built by King Mahipala of the Kachchhapaghata dynasty in 1092. Considered as one of the biggest architectural wonders, the temple has chiefly three entrances from three different directions. The complete shrine is covered with carvings.
